Project Engineer Staff supporting IT Ops and Cyber Resilience at Lockheed Martin Space. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing project leadership for several projects supporting classified digital stack development and execution. The responsibilities include the following:
- Responsible for ensuring business rhythm is established and maintained with stakeholders and end users.
- Responsible for reviewing scope change requests and dispositioning such requests
- Coordinates planning, organization, control, execution, integration and completion of classified IT projects within area of assigned responsibility
- Analyzes business demands and translates to technical requirements, to include coordination with classified architecture team
- Facilitate procurement of HW/SW components as needed for each project
- Guide execution and clear roadblocks. Escalate issues to leadership as appropriate
Basic Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SCI access
- Experience in classified IT environments
- Experience leading projects on schedule and within budget
- Experience providing technical IT teams direction and guidance
Desired Skills:
- Understanding of different IT systems architectures and product lifecycles
- Able to drive collaboration among stakeholders to reach consensus and make decisions
- Solid understanding of both Scaled Agile and Waterfall project management tools and methodologies
- Experience with procurement processes and cycles
- TS/SCI clearance

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
