Job Description:

CACI Federal Inc. is seeking a TS/SCI cleared, experienced Transformation Architect to support our Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) C3IA customer. The successful candidate will provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff and connect business goals and technology execution, guiding the organization through digital transformation initiatives. The Transformation Architect will act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership and collaborate with various teams to manage change, ensure agility, and facilitate the adoption of new technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff and possesses knowledge of AF DCGS and future transitions, including the cloud
  • Provide architectural governance, ensuring open architectural solutions that facilitate a more responsive and Agile engineering approach
  • Coordinate and collaborate with analysts and sustainment to directly support the validation of operation workflows, demonstration threads, and Concepts of Operation (CONOPS) for the software baseline
  • Provide plans and design reviews for maintenance releases, modifications, fixes, and end-of-life replacement; hardware refresh; and cyber patching
  • Assist with the transition to automated tools
  • Review design documentation associated with sustainment and upgrade
  • Conduct trade-off studies to identify the most advantageous technical approach to resolve specific engineering change issues
  • Follow Configuration Management processes and conduct technical reviews of Software Change Requests (SCRs)


Qualifications

Required:
  • A current Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited University
  • 7+ years of professional experience.
  • Alternatively, 15 years of relevant professional experience without a degree.
  • Willingness to learn, teach, and share information in both co-located and remote team environments.
  • Knowledge of system engineering and IT-based architectural fundamentals.
  • Strong active listening skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be self-motivated with good interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working within the Intelligence Community.
  • Experience with the AF DCGS Weapon System


Desired:
  • Exposure to the Systems Engineering Body of Knowledge (SEBOK)
  • Experience in subsystem integration into a large system
  • Exposure to networking principles and/or experience working with classified networks
  • Understanding of DoD acquisition practices


Additional Notes:
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
