What You'll Do
- Support testing and development of weapon systems and related equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
- Manage tasks independently and take ownership of high-level requirements.
- Travel to field test locations as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers.
- Use MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting.
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of defense-related experience in engineering, manufacturing, testing, or field service.
- Ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and work in field environments.
- Experience with shipboard equipment and missile launching systems (e.g., Mk 41 VLS, Mk 57 VLS, Aegis Ashore).
- Knowledge of instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and weapons development.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical/electrical assembly, maintenance, and repair.
- Familiarity with ammunition and explosive materials.
- Background in vehicle or power equipment maintenance.
