ASRC Federal is seeking a skilled and motivated cleared Cloud Engineer to support a high-priority client initiative focused on restoring system access and ensuring continuity of operations.
Summary: This role is critical to enabling users to seamlessly transition back into restored environments while maintaining mission readiness and operational stability. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cloud technologies, a strong grasp of Agile and DevSecOps practices, and the ability to envision, plan, design, and develop moderately complex cloud solutions tailored to mission requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist users in accessing restored systems and maintaining operational continuity.
- Envision, architect, and implement cloud-based solutions aligned with mission goals.
- Design and develop moderately complex cloud infrastructure and services.
- Apply best practices in cloud deployment, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies.
- Integrate DevSecOps principles into cloud development and operations.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and optimize cloud environments for performance and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering or related field.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) relevant to the project scope.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and security.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and DevSecOps frameworks.
- Ability to perform at a moderately higher level, demonstrating initiative, independence, and technical leadership.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Active Secret clearance and ability to successfully complete a government issued background investigation.
Preferred Skills
- Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
