The Mission Capability Verification Center within SE&TC is searching for a master technician to support the engineering services section for operations with our team at White Sands Missile Range, NM. The role will support various organic and inorganic programs and their events while at White Sands Missile Range and abroad. You will work directly with Program managers, test leads, government officials and peers across Raytheon. You will execute full project bids and staffing plans for various needs ranging from small tasks to multi-year projects.

What You Will Do
  • Develop strategic and efficient support for execution plans of local tasks, programs and testing efforts.
  • Support integration and test activities including site surveys, site setup, mission support and teardown utilizing teams of varying disciplines and skillsets.
  • Support mission execution test events for our radars or missile flight tests, which could include travel to various sites on range and abroad.
  • Mentoring and developing staff for support and execution of tasks and events.
  • Compile and deliver various bids and estimates for material and staffing.
  • Support missions and activities in various capacities when needed.
  • Travel is expected, 30% domestic and international.


Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with PATRIOT, LTAMDS, HAWK and/or THADD system.
  • CDL Class A w/HAZMAT (Hazardous Material Endorsement).
  • EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification.


Qualifications We Prefer
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems in real time.
  • Extensive knowledge of WSMR and its operations.
  • Power Industrial Truck Certified.
  • Extensive Construction and Carpentry skills.
  • system movements and site readiness.

The salary range for this role is 62,000 USD - 126,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
