Job Description:
JAMIS Remediation Financial Analyst
Clearance: None, Public Trust or Secret
Location: Fully Remote, can be anywhere within U.S: Program is based out of Norco, CA
Mon-Fri: Core hours
Salary: 90-110K

Duties & Responsibilities:
The Cost Remediation Specialist ensures accuracy, compliance, and integrity of cost data by analyzing, reconciling, and correcting cost allocation errors. This role supports audit readiness, financial transparency, and regulatory compliance across projects and contracts
Key Responsibilities
• Review cost data, labor charges, and indirect rate applications for discrepancies.
• Identify misallocations and implement corrective adjustments within accounting systems.
• Collaborate with finance, contracts, and program management teams to validate cost records.
• Prepare detailed remediation reports and documentation for audits and management reviews.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, CAS, GAAP, and organizational cost policies.
• Track remediation progress and provide recommendations to improve cost allocation processes.
• Develop process improvements and internal controls to prevent recurring errors.
• Support financial reporting, invoicing, and contract cost transparency.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, government contracting regulations, and compliance frameworks (FAR, CAS, GAAP).
• Proven experience with cost analysis, remediation, or financial reconciliation.
• Proficiency in financial/accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• B.S. in Business Administration/Accounting/Finance or equivalent
• Demonstrated 5+ years’ experience with Government Accounting terminology/acronyms (i.e., CLIN, SLIN, ACRN)
• Demonstrated 3+ years’ experience working with Wide Area Workflow
• Demonstrated 5+ years’ working knowledge and experience with corporate accounting systems to include JAMIS, Deltek and Oracle
• Demonstrated 3+ years’ working knowledge of Agiloft
• Demonstrated 3+ years’ working knowledge of Google Sheets and Docs
