Volt is immediately hiring for “Systems Engineer - ENG04” in “Aurora, CO ”.

What You Will Do:
• Provide engineering support for the execution of a portion of the programs test program including test processes and baseline definition, test architecture design, verification, and validation
• Support regression testing across deliverable releases to the program baseline.
• Support and attend technical reviews and technical interchanges in support of the program
• Oversee and provide daily direction to an Integration and Test team
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis, which includes preparing and presenting technical briefs
• Oversee development and execution of test procedures. Identify technical issues during software integration and collaborate with fellow engineers to drive solutions to closure
• Work in an Agile program environment

This is a 12 month with possible extension opportunity.
Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI

Required Qualifications:
• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
• Development experience on a government contract
• Experience with Agile and/or DevSecOps development methods
• Experience with Integration and Test, executing Integration and/or Test procedures
• Technical team leadership experience
• Experience troubleshooting software systems
• Experience with systems engineering principles and activities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment
• Experience with ground station and satellite domains (such as terrestrial data networking, command and telemetry, launch operations, flight dynamics, mission planning, on-orbit operations)
• Good oral and written communication skills as well as good collaboration skills and the ability to work in a team environment
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of tools (e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Experience working in DevOps and/or DevSecOps as well as CI/CD in an Agile development environment
• Test Automation experience (Cucumber, Gherkin, Zypher)
• Experience with Java, C++, or Python
• Experience with Linux operating system
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or similar
• Experience with Jenkins or other deployment automation tools
• Experience with Gitlab, Artifactory, or other software configuration management tools
• SAFe Agile Product Owner experience and certification

Pay Rate:- $85/hr.-$90/hr.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
