Responsibilities:
- Installation & Configuration: Master installation instructions to set up and update network configurations for I3B2 aircraft, with a focus on our Jacksonville, Florida base.
- Audit & Verification: Ensure network configurations align with the latest revisions and cyber/Information Assurance policies.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 network issues and implement fault resolution activities for TS/SCI and collateral networks.
- Design & Documentation: Recommend and document network architecture, concept designs, change implementation plans, and risk assessments.
- Industry Collaboration: Work closely with industry partners and government entities to ensure robust network connectivity.
- Analysis & Recommendations: Review and analyze existing network architectures, providing cutting-edge design recommendations for WAN/LAN technologies.
- Guidance & Support: Offer network implementation guidance, such as intent-based networking and network segmentation protocols.
- After-Hours Support: Provide emergency systems support to ensure continuous operations, even outside regular hours.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- OR Associate degree with four years of specialized experience
- OR Major certification with six years of specialized experience
- OR High school diploma with eight years of specialized experience
- Certification: Current US Department of Defense 8570 Approved IAT II or higher (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent/higher). Must be obtainable within 90 days of start.
Desired:
- Experience: Navy Distributed SIGINT Operations (DSO).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting classified systems and networks.
- Strong knowledge of Routing Protocols, OSI 7 Layer Model, IPv4/IPv6, DNS, DHCP.
- Experience with Cisco Routing and Switching and Cisco ASA firewalls.
- Expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or CentOS.
- Programming skills in Python, Java, and SQL.
- Knowledge of NetApp/ONTAP Solutions.
