Job Summary
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Computer Network Operations (CNO) Developer Lead to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge cyber capabilities in support of national security missions. In this role, you’ll lead a team of software engineers focused on building and delivering offensive and defensive cyber tools to counter emerging threats.
This position requires deep technical expertise, leadership experience, and hands-on proficiency in low-level programming, reverse engineering, and vulnerability exploitation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of developers supporting SIGINT, CNO, and cyber operations missions.
Design, develop, and maintain low-level software in C, C++, or Assembly.
Reverse-engineer binaries to identify vulnerabilities and develop corresponding exploits or mitigation solutions.
Develop mission-critical, performance-focused software solutions emphasizing security, stealth, and reliability.
Collaborate with mission analysts, network operators, and intelligence personnel to translate operational requirements into technical deliverables.
Mentor junior engineers and enforce software development best practices, version control, and code review processes.
Required Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship required.
Active TS/SCI with CI Poly or Full Scope Poly (FSP) required.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years of experience in CNO development, malware analysis, or vulnerability research.
Proficiency in C, C++, Assembly, and Python (or similar scripting languages).
Experience with IDA Pro, Ghidra, and debugging tools such as WinDbg.
Strong understanding of network protocols, operating system internals, and exploit development.
Demonstrated experience leading small technical teams or development projects.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
Experience developing tools or implants for offensive cyber operations.
Familiarity with kernel-level programming and driver development.
Knowledge of secure coding practices and obfuscation techniques.
Experience with Linux and Windows internals, memory forensics, or sandbox evasion.
Prior work with U.S. Government or the Intelligence Community (IC) cyber missions.
