We are currently hiring 10 skilled Cyber Network Operations (CNO) Tool Developer to design, develop, and maintain advanced cyber tools and capabilities that support offensive and defensive cyber operation for the Intelligence Communities out of Fort Meade, Maryland. This role requires expertise in low-level programming, reverse engineering, and vulnerability research to create innovative solutions for complex operational environments.
All candidates MUST HAVE a CI Polygraph to be considered, with a strong preference for candidate with Fullscope Polygraph Clearances.
Selected candidates will work on a team designing and developing custom tools for cyber operations, including exploitation frameworks, implants, and payloads. They will perform vulnerability research and exploit development for various operating systems, applications, and network protocols. Experience performing reverse engineering of software and firmware to identify weaknesses and develop tailored solutions will be critical for this role.
Minimum job requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM Field; or 6 years of additional experience
- A minimum of 2 years experience in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Assembly.
- Strong understanding of operating systems internals (Windows, Linux, Unix).
- Experience with reverse engineering tools (IDA Pro, Ghidra, Radare2) and debugging.
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS) and common security vulnerabilities.
- Familiarity with exploit development and shellcode creation.
- Experience collaborating with cyber operators and analysts to understand mission requirements and translate them into technical capabilities.
- Optimize tools for stealth, reliability, and performance in contested environments.
- Maintain documentation and adhere to secure coding practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, threat landscapes, and advanced exploitation techniques.
