HII - Mission Technologies currently has an opening for a Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) / Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Analyst to support Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC) within the Plans, Policies, and Operations (PP&O) division, specifically the Policy Office (PO), Plans and Operations Policy (POP) section, and Implementation Planning (IP) team at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your experience in CWMD/CBRN threat analysis. What You Will Do:
As a CWMD (Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction) Intelligence Analyst, you will:
- Review structured and unstructured data, apply analytical rigor, and produce cohesive, methodical intelligence products.
- Integrate data from diverse government sources and intelligence disciplines - including SIGINT (Signals Intelligence), MASINT (Measurement and Signature Intelligence), GEOINT (Geospatial Intelligence), IMINT (Imagery Intelligence), and HUMINT (Human Intelligence) - to identify entities and networks of interest supporting both conventional and specialized Marine Forces operating CONUS (Continental United States) and OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States).
- Develop multi-intelligence assessments by leveraging national-level products and databases to define threat activity patterns and refine the search space for counter-threat operations.
- Collaborate with Combatant Commands and the broader Community of Interest to produce capabilities-focused intelligence products that address command-level and unit-specific information requirements.
- Plan, develop, and deliver tailored capabilities that enhance the organization's ability to effectively mitigate improvised threats.
- Identify and analyze complex problems, and recommend solutions based on experience working with Department of Defense (DoD) components and interagency partners.
What We're Looking For:
- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Minimum of three years' experience writing intelligence products to CWMD/CBRN Community standards in accordance with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 203.
- Minimum of three years' experience conducting analysis using intelligence reporting, metadata, and non-traditional datasets.
- Proven ability to gather and interpret finished intelligence from authoritative sources within the Intelligence Community (IC) and Defense Intelligence Enterprise.
- Strong understanding of the National Security Strategy, National Defense Strategy, and National Military Strategy.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating and building communities of interest across the national security enterprise.
- Prior experience briefing at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas: counter-proliferation, pathway defeat, counter-facilitation, or supply chain analysis.
- Experience leveraging intelligence to drive operations or generate effects through Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), interagency (IA), or law enforcement entities.
- Active DoD Secret clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Over ten years of military experience and/or a combination of military agency experience, including combat deployments; well-versed in all areas of military intelligence.
- Strong understanding of key Joint Publications, including JP 3-41 (CBRN Consequence Management), JP 3-40 (Countering WMD), JP 3-25 (Countering Threat Networks), and JP 3-11 (Operations in CBRN Environments).
- Familiarity with U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) and its role as the Department of Defense's coordinating authority for CWMD efforts.
- More than three years of experience supporting CWMD operations focused on pathway defeat, vertical proliferation, or horizontal proliferation.
- Experience leveraging supply chain data, commercial datasets, or trade data to inform policy development.
- Expert-level understanding of Artificial Intelligence applications, Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2), and network analysis tools.
- Practical experience with geospatial intelligence tools such as ArcGIS and Google Earth.
