The software integrator will work directly with the client analyzing complex and unique technical support assignments and collaborate with software engineers, hardware engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and program analysts within a scaled agile environment. This position is 100% onsite. No hybrid/flex or remote work schedules are permitted for this effort.
Responsibilities
• Design, deploy, and optimize software systems running on distributed edge nodes.
• integrate applications and services at the edge to ensure low latency, high availability, and efficient resource utilization across networked environments.
• Work with software developers, DevOps engineers, and network architects to deliver scalable, high-performance edge computing solutions.
• Integrate and deploy applications, containers, and services across edge nodes and distributed environments.
• Develop and maintain integration pipelines for continuous deployment and monitoring of edge workloads.
• Collaborate with software teams to containerize, modularize, and adapt applications for edge execution.
• Analyze performance bottlenecks in edge systems (compute, memory, I/O, and network) and implement optimization strategies.
• Fine-tune data synchronization, caching, and message routing between edge and cloud systems.
• Implement intelligent workload orchestration for resource-efficient edge operations.
• Ensure secure and reliable software deployment across heterogeneous edge hardware.
• Apply cybersecurity best practices, including encryption, authentication, and runtime protection at the edge.
• Develop monitoring frameworks to capture performance metrics, latency, and resource utilization.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and fault recovery of edge workloads.
• Work with network engineers, cloud architects, and embedded systems developers to ensure seamless end-to-end system performance.
• Support testing, debugging, and validation across distributed environments.
• Conduct software integration and validation testing to identify and resolve technical issues.
