Open Systems Technologies Corporation is looking for a Cloud Solutions Engineerto join our team of experts to assist with building state of the art data platforms for the Department of Defense's premier data analytics platform.
Responsibilities
Key Role :
Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions for defense and intelligence community clients.
Design and implement secure, scalable AWS cloud architectures.
Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Configure and optimize AWS services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
Implement cloud security controls and ensure compliance with DoD requirements.
Automate cloud operations and deployment pipelines.
Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and costs.
Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain security best practices.
Provide technical expertise for cloud strategy and architecture decisions.
Basic Qualifications :
3+ years of experience with AWS cloud engineering
Experience with using Linux operating system and Bash scripting
Experience scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Knowledge of AWS networking and security services
Experience with designing, implementing, and maintaining software applications
Knowledge of AWS core services such as EC2, S3, or Lambda
Ability to operate in classified environments supporting mission-critical systems
TS/SCI CI Poly Clearance
AWS Associate-level Certification such as Solutions Architect Associate, SysOps Administrator Associate, or Developer Associate Certification
DoD 8570 IAT Level II or DoD 8410 CSSP Certification
Nice to Have :
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and IaC tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
Knowledge of AWS security best practices and compliance frameworks
Experience interacting with AWS APIs programmatically
Knowledge of IAM roles, policies, users, and groups
