Job Description
This role supports the modernization of DDJT-managed JLVC federates for future Joint Force events, including the FY27 objective. The engineer will help transition legacy systems to cloud-native, containerized, and modular solutions using modern development practices.
Responsibilities include:
• Refactor legacy systems for cloud-native environments
• Migrate server-client systems to Docker/Kubernetes
• Develop software using Java, C++, Python, JavaScript
• Build secure CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Redesign legacy UI for web-based interfaces
• Apply Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA)
• Collaborate with cyber and systems teams
• Document architecture and design decisions
