The Systems Integration & Test (SI&T) Effectors group under Systems Engineering Test Capabilities (SETC) is currently searching for a System Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) on a Standard Missile 3 (SM-3) program in the Standard Missiles Systems Sub Strategic Business Unit (SSBU) in the Naval Power Strategic Business Unit (SBU).
The SEIT IPTL will support the Office of the Chief Engineer (OCE) by coordinating and managing the execution of the SEIT scope. SEIT scope on SM-3 includes systems engineering, systems integration and test, hardware-in-the-loop test platforms, and lifecycle engineering for all SM-3 development, obsolescence, and production activities. SEIT IPTL will be responsible for collaborating internally across functions and externally with our industry partners and customers to plan, prepare and execute any SEIT scope within the program, including hardware and software scope.

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

What You Will Do
- Responsible for the overall execution of the system engineering, integration & test scope across a multi-disciplined team; this includes driving priorities within the program and coordinating the integrated effort
- Accountable for the SEIT scope, including aligning product EACs with SOW definition, contract values and Program Management
- Interface with Program Management and the Office of the Chief Engineer and manage the technical and programmatic coordination across the engineering teams
- Works with customer counterparts to understand status, schedules, priorities and objectives for events
- Participate in management of suppliers in coordination with the supply chain function
- Manage staffing across the SEIT IPT in concert with different disciplines
- Coordinate, write, and deliver technical briefs to both internal and external customers
- Lead the team to build a strong culture of mentoring, supporting employees in building relationships as both mentors and mentees
- Work environment is onsite, primarily in an office
- Up to 10% travel to support design reviews and programmatic meetings
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of twelve (12) years of prior relevant experience
- Experience in system design, development, integration/verification, and/or production within the defense industry
- Experience in Earn Value Management System (EMVS) and Cost Account Management (CAM)
- Experience with developing Estimate-at-Completion (EACs)
- Active and transferrable final U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain Top Secret after start. US citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Master's or Ph.D. in Engineering discipline
- Multi-disciplined engineering background providing knowledge of related technologies and products; electronics, firmware, mechanical, systems engineering, and Integration & Test
- 12+ years in STEM field, including 5+ years in technical and program leadership positions
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills (verbal & written)
- Experience in developing and/or testing missile components
- Experience in risk and opportunity management
- Experience with DoD or similar major programs throughout the product lifecycle
- PMX Level 6 Certification
