The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Coordinator to lead safety and environmental operations for our Albuquerque manufacturing and research facilities. This position supports a diverse environment that includes metal fabrication, welding, painting, electrical testing, and R&D. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, leadership presence, and the ability to connect with people at every level - from floor operators to program directors. You'll serve as the go-to safety professional for all Albuquerque-area operations, ensuring full compliance with OSHA, EPA, DAFMAN 91-203, NFPA 70E, and ISO 45001 standards. This is a high-visibility position offering the opportunity to make a measurable impact on worker protection, mission readiness, and continuous improvement within one of CACI's key operational centers.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain EH&S programs, policies, and procedures tailored to complex manufacturing and government operations.
- Lead the site Electrical Safety Program per NFPA 70E, OSHA 1910 Subpart S, and DAFMAN 91-203, including energized work permits, arc-flash analyses, and risk assessments.
- Conduct safety and compliance training programs (LOTO, Fall Protection, Confined Space, Forklift, Hazard Communication, Electrical Safety).
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and environmental releases; identify root causes and track corrective actions.
- Conduct routine inspections of machine shops, welding areas, paint booths, and electrical testing operations.
- Manage hazardous and universal waste programs in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Monitor safety performance metrics and prepare Power BI dashboards for management review.
- Support ISO 45001 implementation and drive continuous improvement across all safety and environmental programs.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active DoD Secret Clearance (Required to Start).
- 3+ years of EH&S experience within manufacturing, industrial, or DoD-contracted operations.
- Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Electrical Safety (NFPA 70E, LOTO, Arc-Flash).
- Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910, EPA hazardous waste management, and ISO 45001 systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence across all levels.
- Experience using Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Power BI for EH&S management.
Desired:
- Professional certifications such as CHST, ASP, CSP, CESM, or NFPA 70E Trainer Certification.
- Experience supporting DoD, aerospace, or classified facility operations.
- Familiarity with DAFMAN 91-203, NFPA 70E, and environmental reporting systems.
- Experience implementing ISO 45001 or ISO 14001 management systems.
