LOCATION: Full-time onsite in Springfield, VA

This role requires a strong foundation in data science principles, proficiency in data visualization tools, and practical experience in developing AI applications, particularly chatbots.

Key Responsibilities

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you are an integral part of what brings our Company's mission to life. You must have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience in and/or with:

Data Analysis & Modeling:
  • Designing, developing, and implementing statistical data models, machine learning algorithms, and predictive models to solve complex business problems.
  • Cleaning, processing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis.
  • Performing exploratory data analysis to discover trends, patterns, and insights.

Data Visualization & Reporting (Tableau):
  • Creating compelling and informative data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Developing and maintaining automated reporting systems for key performance indicators (KPIs).

AI/Chatbot Development:
  • Utilizing AI skills to design, develop, and deploy intelligent chatbot solutions to automate customer service, internal processes, or other business functions.
  • Working with natural language processing (NLP) techniques, machine learning models, and dialogue flow design to create effective and engaging conversational interfaces.
  • Monitoring, evaluating, and iteratively improving chatbot performance based on user feedback and operational data.

Collaboration & Communication:
  • Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and business analysts to define project requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Clearly articulating complex analytical results and recommendations to all levels of the organization.

Technical skills
  • Programming language commonly used in data science (e.g., Python or R) and SQL.
  • Proficiency with Tableau for dashboard development and data storytelling.
  • Specific AI skills and experience in the full lifecycle of building and designing chat bots


Highly Desired Qualifications

Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
