We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our overseas program on a 90-day rotational deployment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of carpentry and finishing, with demonstrated experience in drywall, door installation, window treatments, and specialized window film application. A key component of this role is the ability to conduct meticulous site surveys, develop accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and cost estimates, and draft comprehensive after-action reports (AARs). This position requires strict adherence to security protocols, with a strong emphasis on Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 compliance.

Responsibilities
- Carpentry and Finishing:
- Perform drywall installation, finishing, and repair, including measuring, cutting, and securing panels to frameworks.
- Install, repair, and maintain interior and exterior doors, frames, hardware, and associated trim.
- Surveying and Estimation:
- Conduct comprehensive site surveys to evaluate project scope, assess existing conditions, and identify potential challenges.
- Develop and present accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) detailing all necessary components and materials for projects.
- Create detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment to inform project planning and budget allocation.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Draft detailed after-action reports (AARs) for all surveys and projects, documenting procedures, challenges, and lessons learned.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications with precision.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in strict accordance with security protocols.
- Compliance and Security:
- Execute all work in adherence to the physical and technical security standards set forth in Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, particularly for secure facilities.
- Collaborate with site security personnel, project managers, and other trades to ensure secure and seamless project execution.
- Adhere strictly to all site-specific and company safety and security protocols.
- Tools and Equipment:
- Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work area, and properly store all tools and equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required with 8+ years of prior experience.
- Ability to read and understand architectural drawings.
- Ability to construct metal framing partition walls, including drywall finishing and painting to a level 5 finish.
- Skill in the use of computers, preferably in a PC, Windows-based operating environment.
- Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
- Records maintenance skills.

Abilities:
- The position requires the ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to [50 pounds] on a regular basis. Candidates must demonstrate physical strength and stamina to perform various tasks, including but not limited to, loading, and unloading, operating equipment, and assisting in the transportation of various materials. Proper lifting techniques and safety protocols must be followed to ensure personal and team safety.
- Relocates a 12 foot stepladder without assistance.
- Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders.
- Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.
- Possess good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English.
- May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools.
