JOB SUMMARY
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is seeking a licensed Physician to join a team of Medical Officers (MO) that manages the fitness for duty of the workforce for the world's leading Federal Law Enforcement Agency. The MO team supports the FBI mission by reviewing medical examinations to determine applicants' and employees' fitness for duty and supports various programs impacting the entire FBI workforce. #LI-FBI

MAJOR DUTIES:
- Evaluated and treats occupational injury and illnesses of trainees at Quantico
- Implements employee health direction strategies for the organization regarding physical and psychological well-being of the workforce
- Establishes working relationships with internal and external community medical practitioners and organizations
- Develops and implements a variety of employee health and preventative hazardous occupational health programs.
- Conducts evaluations, reviews reports, medical evaluations and participates in the Medical Evaluation Board and process.
- Provide consultation regarding applicant processing and pre-employment medical evaluation.
- Coordinates with members of special program areas; the FBI clinical personnel, field office Nursing staff and psychological evaluation providers.

- The FBI is in the Executive Branch of the federal government. It is one of the components of the Department of Justice (DOJ). The FBI is the principle investigative arm of the DOJ. All FBI positions are in the excepted service.
