Formed in 2010, Darkblade Systems strives to be a business that puts people first: clients, colleagues, employees, and teammates. Our cleared personnel are experts in the operationalization and deployment of new and emerging technologies.

Darkblade Systems is seeking a highly skilled and motivated enterprise level KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT LEAD to provide critical support to the Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA), Deputy Chief of Staff, G-2 (Intelligence). The Knowledge Management Lead will be a mission-critical subject matter expert (SME) responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining a comprehensive, enterprise-wide Knowledge Management program for the DCS G2. This position operates at a senior level, working independently on high-visibility programs to ensure that organizational knowledge assets-including doctrine, lessons learned, best practices, and decision-making rationale-are effectively captured, curated, shared, and leveraged across the organization. The Knowledge Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to senior staff and may oversee the efforts of less senior KM personnel and project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy and Governance: Lead the design and execution of the G2's overarching KM strategy, aligning it with Army/DoD doctrine, mission priorities, and digital modernization initiatives.

  • Knowledge Flow and Processes: Analyze and optimize organizational workflows to identify knowledge gaps and bottlenecks. Implement effective processes for the creation, capture, storage, retrieval, and disposition of mission-critical knowledge.
  • Technology Integration: Oversee the selection, deployment, and integration of KM tools and technologies, ensuring they are user-friendly, secure, and compliant with Army IT and cybersecurity standards.
  • Training and Culture: Develop and facilitate Communities of Practice (CoP), training programs, and workshops to foster a culture of knowledge-sharing, continuous learning, and KM adoption across the staff.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Develop and track performance metrics (e.g., usage analytics, user engagement, knowledge article effectiveness) to continuously assess and improve the KM program.
  • Senior Advising: Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, decision papers, and correspondence to communicate KM initiatives and strategic recommendations to senior military and civilian leadership.
