Job Responsibilities
Support the identification, pursuit, and capture of new business opportunities within the DoD and federal market.
Collaborate with executive leadership to analyze market trends.
Participate in capture activities and contribute to proposals for sustainable growth.

Required Skills and Experience
Clearance: Active Secret clearance
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Relations, Political Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
1-3 years in business development, market research, or government contracting (including internships and co-op).
Experience with $15-50 million
Experience with Oasis, Seaport, GovWin
Knowledge:
Working knowledge of the DoD and federal acquisition lifecycle.
Prior exposure to DoD or government clients (preferred).
Skills:
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; CRM experience is a plus.
Self-starter, able to work both independently and within a team.
Nice-to-Have Skills and Experience
Conduct market research to identify and qualify potential opportunities, customers, and competitors within the DoD and federal contracting space.
Monitor government procurement portals (e.g., SAM.gov, GovWin, FPDS) for relevant solicitations, RFIs, and RFPs.
Assist in developing and executing capture strategies and account plans for target agencies and opportunities.
Gather and analyze data for go/no-go decisions and bid strategy recommendations.
Coordinate and schedule meetings with potential clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Support proposal development, including data gathering for past performance and technical content.
Prepare presentations, whitepapers, and capability statements to showcase company expertise.
Track and report on business development metrics using CRM and other tools.
Stay informed about federal acquisition regulations and DoD contracting trends.
Assist with other business development, marketing, and administrative tasks as needed.
