We are currently hiring for a Salesforce Architect supporting a program within the Department of Energy. In this role, you will lead the design and development of custom solutions on the Force.com platform, leveraging Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, integrations, and out-of-the-box tools. Daily responsibilities include gathering and refining business requirements, creating specifications, process flows, and overseeing application design, configuration, and testing. You will provide technical expertise throughout planning, implementation, and delivery, while offering hands-on support for building and maintaining CRM platforms, Communities, and Sites. This includes leading technical strategy and design workshops, administering complex configurations and integrations, and ensuring compliance through security documentation and controls. You will develop reusable code and documentation, review technical implementations for adherence to best practices, and make system enhancements based on evolving business needs. Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders to align technology solutions with strategic objectives, drive client goals to completion, and mentor Salesforce developers by providing guidance and feedback.
Must Haves
• Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of experience (can substitute yoe for degree)
• Active Secret Clearance with the ability to upgrade to a Top Secret
• 8+ years of experience in a hands-on technical leadership position designing, developing, and administrating Salesforce Platform
• Experience in full lifecycle Salesforce implementations with strong expertise in the following modules: Service Cloud and Community Cloud
• Master level presentation skills for sharing concepts internally and externally and with both business and technical stakeholders
• Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications using SOAP, REST, BULK, and streaming API's
Plusses
• Salesforce certifications, such as: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or Salesforce Certified Application Architect
• Ability to explain technical material to non-technical audiences
• Thorough knowledge of software development through automation tools - need to implement and program - hands on
• Experience in federal IT systems and development processes
Compensation: $137,700-$186,300. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
