System Architect (Level 4)
Kaizen Approach is currently seeking a System Architect to design and develop strategic IT system solutions that integrate commercial and government off-the-shelf (COTS and GOTS) products into unified enterprise architectures. In this role, you will evaluate existing systems, define architectural frameworks, and develop innovative solutions that align with agency standards and mission objectives. You will ensure interoperability, scalability, and compliance with enterprise architecture and cybersecurity requirements while guiding technical teams through design, development, and deployment phases. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to translate complex mission needs into efficient, secure, and sustainable system designs
Requirements:
• Must have experience establishing and defining systems information requirements and designing large-scale or enterprise-wide system architectures.
• Must have experience integrating COTS and GOTS products into comprehensive system solutions.
• Must have experience developing architectures that include software, hardware, and communications components to support total system requirements.
• Must have experience ensuring compliance with agency IT standards, architecture profiles, and integration requirements.
• Must have experience conducting system analysis and developing recommendations for workflow improvements, planning, and system design.
• Must have experience providing supervision and direction to technical staff supporting system architecture development and implementation.
• Must possess DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification and an operating system certification such as Microsoft OS or CentOS/Red Hat OS.
• Experience with Active Directory, Identity Management, SCCM, DNS, Group Policy, and Privileged Account Management (PAM) systems preferred.
• Associate's degree and ten (10) years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of relevant experience required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
Salary Range:
A variety of factors can impact the final salary offered, including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant work experience, specialized skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
