IT Engineer (Level 3)

Kaizen Approach is currently seeking an IT Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and enhance complex IT systems supporting critical mission operations. In this role, you will work independently and collaboratively to analyze system requirements, resolve performance issues, and recommend innovative solutions across enterprise IT environments. You will lead portions of medium-to-large projects, manage system installations, and ensure technical reliability, scalability, and compliance with cybersecurity and DoD 8570 standards. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in enterprise architecture, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management, with the ability to guide technical teams and deliver advanced, sustainable IT solutions

Requirements:

• Must have experience developing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex IT systems and components.
• Must be able to review and test IT systems for adherence to requirements and document results.
• Must have experience managing installation, maintenance, and system software components.
• Must be able to provide specialized solutions to complex IT and network problems.
• Must have experience leading or contributing to large-scale IT projects and system designs.

• Experience with mobility services required.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, or related discipline and twelve (12) years of relevant experience required. Master's degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience; four (4) additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.
• Must possess DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II or higher certification.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.

Salary Range:
A variety of factors can impact the final salary offered, including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant work experience, specialized skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
