Platform Engineer (Level 2)
Kaizen Approach is currently seeking a Platform Engineer (Level 2) to support enterprise hosting environments and enhanced Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (eVDI) solutions. In this role, you will configure, implement, and maintain system architectures related to Citrix, Windows, UNIX, and Linux environments. You will collaborate with software developers, database administrators, and network engineers to integrate and optimize enterprise applications that meet mission performance, reliability, and security requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with virtualization technologies, system automation, and enterprise-level troubleshooting to ensure efficient, scalable, and secure platform operations.
Requirements:
• Must have experience implementing, integrating, and maintaining Citrix, Windows, UNIX, and Linux environments.
• Must be able to perform system scripting, provisioning, and configuration management for enterprise hosting platforms.
• Must have experience providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support to Citrix end users and troubleshooting infrastructure issues.
• Must have experience preparing hardware and system designs for updates to the enhanced Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (eVDI).
• Must have experience collaborating with engineers on systems integration efforts and optimizing system operations and resource utilization.
• Must have experience conducting network performance captures and implementing specific network solutions to support server requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline and ten (10) years of relevant experience required. Four (4) additional years of Platform Engineering experience may substitute for a degree.
• Must have 5+ years of experience with Linux, Unix, and Shell programming, and at least 2+ years of experience with Enterprise Hosting Platforms, Service Applications, or Enterprise Data Centers.
• Must possess DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I or higher certification.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
Salary Range:
A variety of factors can impact the final salary offered, including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant work experience, specialized skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
