Responsibilities:
- J2X requires dedicated capacity and expertise to prepare CI analytical products in support of the Command Counterintelligence Coordinating Authority (CCICA). Support includes maintaining situational awareness of the FIE threat and coordinating, de-conflicting, and synchronizing theater CI activities.
- Will conduct research on classified and unclassified systems to acquire all relevant and available data, create comprehensive and actionable intelligence products, and write analytical assessments that improve DoD understanding of FIE activities, motivations, and associations.
- Will provide CI analytical and targeting support to identify FIE organizations, leadership, officers, support and action agents, sources and source networks, contacts, activities, capabilities, and intentions. Will also identify FIE methodology, tradecraft, communications, collection platforms, information systems, databases, and activities, and brief senior leaders on the threat. Will develop new CI Collection Requirements based on discovered links and associations, identify targeted technologies of interest to FIEs, and refine collection efforts.
- Will participate in discussions and information exchanges with USINDOPACOM service components and other partners, as appropriate.

 Desired Education: Master's degree or Bachelor's degree and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the Master's degree.
 
- Desired Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
Required Training/Experience:
- Previous experience conducting counterintelligence (CI) targeting analysis of the primary Foreign Intelligence Entities (FIE) in any COCOM area of responsibility (AOR). Has produced assessments of FIE officers and assets to initiate, drive and support the full range of CI activities in support of the COCOM mission. Contributes to the production of a Common Intelligence Picture (CIP) of the primary FIE targets in the AOR. Coordinates with other U.S. and partner intelligence organizations to identify and target foreign intelligence threats to COCOM interests.
- Demonstrated experience identifying FIE individuals that are of CI targeting interest and develops in-depth products of FIE individuals to support CI targeting efforts.
- Demonstrated experience conducting all-source analysis of FIE in a COCOM AOR; Analyzes FIE capabilities, activities, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and intentions to conduct intelligence operations or sabotage U.S. defense-related facilities, systems operations, plans, and capabilities.
- Experience working closely with case officers, case agents, intelligence analysts, and operations support analysts from DoD and national CI organizations to discuss in-depth details of specific cases/operations, analyze the effectiveness and risks of the cases/operations, and provide assistance and guidance towards the progress of the cases/operations.
- Demonstrated experience working closely with intelligence analysts, collectors, and collection managers from DoD and national Intelligence and CI organizations to drive enhances collection against CI targets through collection requirements and feedback.
- Demonstrated experience working closely with COCOM CI analysts to provide analytical input to the overall COCOM understanding of FIE presence, activities and objectives in the COCOM AOR; provides input to the COCOM CI CIP
- Demonstrated experience engaging foreign allies' and partner' CI organizations to share CI information to the maximum extent possible in order to enable enhanced CI activities against FIE targets in a COCOM AOR.
- Demonstrated experience producing written intelligence assessments and /or build and deliver intelligence briefings to inform COCOM staff elements, components, and sub-unified commands; foreign allies and partner; and other DoD and national customers of CI topics of interest.
- Demonstrated experience preparing CI analytical products in support of the Command Counterintelligence Coordinating Authority (CCICA). Support includes situational awareness of the FIE threat and to coordinate, de-conflict and synchronize theater CI activities
