The Cloud Engineer plays a critical role in the design, migration, and operational support of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 solutions. This position supports cross-functional teams by developing scalable and secure cloud systems aligned with organizational needs.
Primary Responsibilities & Duties:
• Design and deploy moderately complex solutions in Azure (e.g., VNets, VPNs, Load Balancers, Azure AD, App Services).
• Implement and administer Microsoft 365 services including compliance features, collaboration tools, and identity integrations.
• Manage and support hybrid environments, including Azure AD Connect and Exchange Hybrid configurations.
• Lead smaller migration efforts such as mailbox moves to Exchange Online, legacy system to SharePoint Online, or application rehosting to Azure.
• Automate tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Microsoft Graph API.
• Monitor Azure and M365 environments, optimize resource usage, and remediate performance issues.
• Ensure data security, access control, and compliance across cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and network teams to ensure secure cloud deployments.
