The position will lead efforts in system performance monitoring, backup and recovery process, and cross-functional collaboration with engineers and cybersecurity teams to maintain compliance and mission readiness.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Windows-based server and desktop environments across an organization.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core Windows services to ensure secure and efficient operations.
- Leads efforts to deploy and configure servers, monitor system performance, and apply patches and updates to maintain system integrity and compliance.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine tasks, manage backup and recovery processes, and ensure high availability of critical systems.
- Collaborate with network engineers, cybersecurity teams, and application support staff to ensure seamless integration and secure operations across the IT infrastructure.
- Planning and execute system upgrades, migrations, and new deployments, often leading cross-functional teams through these initiatives.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions, as well as mentoring junior administrators and providing guidance on best practices.
- Maintain a stable, secure, and scalable IT infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:
- 6 years of professional work and leadership experience in relation to Windows system administration of networks and software systems.
- Experience in system backup/recovery, basic software management, security and library management, installation and configuration of hardware, operating systems and COTS software, operating computer systems in different operating environments, sizing, performance, tuning, hardware/software /network trouble shooting and resource allocation.
- Experience in maintaining proficiency on major network security tools such as, firewalls.
- Experience developing system specifications and performing market research procurement tasks.
- Experience with different network protocols including TCP/IP.
- Experience of computing and networking vulnerabilities, and attach and latest detect methods.
- Required Certification: IAT Level II
