The Judge Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Aviation Life Support Systems (ALSS) Technician to support flight operations for one of our premier clients in the aerospace and defense industry. This position provides critical support for ALSS requirements across multiple military aircraft programs, ensuring the highest standards of safety, maintenance, and operational readiness.

This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Perform inspection, maintenance, repair, and testing of aviation life support equipment, including flight suits, helmets, oxygen systems, ejection seats, and survival gear.
- Support flight operations by ensuring all ALSS equipment meets applicable military and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with flight crews, maintenance teams, and program leadership to maintain ALSS readiness, compliance, and mission support.
- Document and report equipment status, discrepancies, and maintenance actions in accordance with military and industry standards.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians and flight personnel on ALSS procedures and safety protocols.
- Maintain current knowledge of ALSS technical orders, manuals, and regulatory guidance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance ALSS program effectiveness, reliability, and safety.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Associate's degree in a related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Qualified Aviation Life Support Systems Technician through U.S. military service, FAA certification, or an equivalent recognized program.
- Experience supporting military aviation life support programs, preferably with aircraft such as the F-15, F/A-18, or comparable platforms.
- Strong understanding of military and FAA aviation safety standards, technical orders, and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Proficiency in maintenance tracking systems and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Current U. S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a military or defense contractor environment.
- Familiarity with multiple aircraft types and associated ALSS equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with pilots, maintenance personnel, and program management.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) for access to military installations.
