Responsibilities
- Provide full-time, on-site property management support for General Equipment (GE) and Operating Materials & Supplies (OM&S).
- Tag, record, and maintain property line items in the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) system.
- Conduct physical inventories for all GE, OM&S, and containers under Property Management purview.
- Maintain and reconcile property records and receipts to ensure audit readiness and compliance with FIAR standards.
- Maintain subsidiary accounts for Assets Under Development, Fixed Assets, and Accumulated Depreciation in N-ERP.
- Validate shipping manifests against container contents and assist with packing and container control operations.
- Provide assistance and training to NSWCDD Technical Departments on GE, OM&S, and N-ERP processes.
- Coordinate logistics and inventory management activities with NSWCDD Technical Departments, local government points of contact, subject matter experts, the Personal Property Manager (PPM), Organizational Property Administrators (OPA), Inventory Specialists, Procurement Analysts, and the Container Control Officer (CCO).
- Support property screening, stock screening, distribution, disposal, and reverse logistics in accordance with established service-level agreements.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports, including inventory, property pass, MILSTRIP, stock screening, and reconciliation reports.
- Update and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), process guides, and related documentation.
- Participate in Property Management meetings, training sessions, and knowledge transfer (KT) activities.
- Conduct risk assessments, support process improvements, and recommend strategies to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret clearance (OR current interim Secret has been granted).
- Education and experience:
- Associate's degree, OR
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in property or inventory management, purchasing, OM&S, GE, or container operations.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) or a comparable ERP system for property management and asset accountability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with other Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook) preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple data systems and teams to resolve issues and respond to customer needs.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, customer focus, and commitment to process integrity and compliance.
