- Build and maintain the cloud-native system
- Adapt to changing requirements and stay up to date on emerging technologies
- Assist in implementing new products and technologies to enhance the system
Technical Requirements

- Experience with Linux (Red Hat and CentOS desired)
- Automated OS and cloud infrastructure installation
- Cloud virtualization

- Active Directory

Security
- System security, hardening, and accreditation standards:
- e.g., DCID 6/3, ICD-503
System Configuration & Management
- Configuration and usage of:
- NAT, DNS, LDAP, NIS, NFS, iptables, FreeIPA
- System performance monitoring and tuning
- Designing, performing, and monitoring system backup plans
- Training others on system maintenance duties
Scripting & Automation
- Create, debug, and enhance scripts:
- bash, csh, Perl, Ruby, Python, expect
- Automate repetitive tasks
Networking
- Basic knowledge of:
- Switching, routing, IP addressing, and network fundamentals
- Experience with multicast
Version Control Systems
- Use and administration of:
- CVS, Subversion, Git
