Title: System Administrator 5 - TS/SCI

Location: Herndon,VA

Salary Range: $95/HR To $110/HR

Active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance with current Full Scope Polygraph (FSP)

Join our dynamic team focused on delivering complex solutions in challenging environments. We support Mission Operations Portfolio areas, designing, building, testing, deploying, operating, and maintaining mission-critical platforms and systems for both commercial and government customers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
• 5 years of related work experience for level 4 or 10 years for level 5
• System Administration experience in Linux/Unix or Windows platforms
• Active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance with current Full Scope Polygraph (FSP)

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Expertise in on-premises virtualization or cloud expertise (AWS or Azure)
• Experience with VDI, monitoring infrastructure, and securing infrastructure
• Experience with documenting technical details in Confluence and task tracking in Jira
• Strong knowledge of security best practices
• Experience with security auditing, vulnerability assessments, and incident response
• Cloud, INFOSEC, or other recent IT certifications

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance tasks
• Assist network engineers with configuring and managing network services
• Implement and manage backup strategies for data protection and disaster recovery
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect the system
• Analyze system performance and implement optimizations
• Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and generate reports
• Participate in planning and implementation of new systems, upgrades, and migrations
• Perform infrastructure administration and automation, information security support, and configurations
• Create new solutions to technical problems and provide system support
