Overview:
Insight Global is seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to support a long-term sustainment program based in Anniston, Alabama. This position plays a critical role in the ongoing maintenance and operational readiness of complex electronic security systems. The technician will be responsible for conducting scheduled system "grooms," performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring the integrity of electronic components such as card readers, CCTV systems, and access control devices.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform quarterly and semi-annual preventative maintenance on electronic security systems.
Conduct system diagnostics and functional testing of components including card readers, CCTV cameras, and access control systems.
Identify and document system issues, and initiate service tickets for resolution.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system performance.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
Adhere to all safety protocols and security requirements while working on-site.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronics systems support, preferably in a government or defense-related environment.
Lenel Certified Professional or CompTIA Security+ certification.
Must be eligible for a DoD Secret Clearance (active clearance preferred but not required).
Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with electronic security systems.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Compliance with IAT Level II (DoD 8140) standards.
Experience working in secure facilities or with classified systems.
Familiarity with ticketing systems and maintenance documentation tools.
Compensation:
$35/hr to $45/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
