About the Role:
Culmen International is hiring Sr. Exploitation Specialist/Data Scientists to provide support on-site at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in Springfield, VA.
The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) expects to deliver AOS Metadata Cataloging and Management Services to enhance product and asset management of content enabling rapid creation of discoverable, modular, web enabled, and visually enriched Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) products for intelligence producers in NGA, across the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG).

What You'll Do in Your New Role
The Data Scientist will support cross-functional operations spanning custom product creation, data integrity, DLA support and CADRG development. The Data Scientist will focus on developing and implementing automation solutions to streamline workflows, enhance digital transfer processes, and optimize GEOINT content delivery across the internal and external enterprise.
Analyze large datasets to improve evaluation and solve intelligence issues.
Design and refine solutions and processes.
Work with stakeholders to break down features into tasks, plan timelines, allocate resources, and evaluate risks.
Perform exploratory data analysis to identify data relationships and trends.
Combine math, programming, and analytics for informed decisions.
Develop and apply optimization models for data management.
Use big data tools for actionable insights.
Review peers' work to boost quality and methods.
Build strong teams and mentor members in technical growth.
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI Clearance
10+ years of relevant experience (Combination of years’ experience and professional certifications/trainings can be used in lieu of years’ experience).
Experience with supporting the Intelligence Community.
Experience providing analysis and / or data science to an intelligence mission.
Experience with database design, implementation, & optimization.
Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for geospatial data.
Experience designing and implementing workflow automation systems.
Experience with an understanding of NGA Foundation GEOINT products, data types, and delivery methods
Proficiency in creating processes around large data sets to identify analytical discoveries.
Proficiency in Python and other programming languages applicable to automation development.
Expertise in integrating disparate systems through APl development and implementation.
Desired Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Data Science or related technical field.
Experience in developing and working with AI/ML.
Experience in building and maintaining databases of GEOINT, SIGINT, or OSINT.
Experience with Data Visualization.
