Air Force Financial Resource Advisor
Location: Shaw AFB-Sumter, SC – Onsite | Clearance: Active Secret Required
Position Overview:
Teksouth is seeking an experienced Air Force Financial Resource Advisor to provide daily onsite financial management support at Shaw Air Force Base. This role supports USAFCENT operations by ensuring accurate budget execution, analysis, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct Tri-Annual Reviews, MORD reviews, and follow-up on aged commitments and obligations.
• Track funding documents from submission through certification.
• Support USAFCENT budget requirements, including Execution Plans, Spend Plans, and Unfunded Requests.
• Respond to short-notice requests for financial data and execution updates.
• Prepare and consolidate annual and multi-year budget estimates for assigned organizations and programs.
• Monitor obligations and expenditures across various funding sources.
• Utilize USAF and DoD financial systems (e.g., CRIS, GAFS, ABSS, DTS, DEAMS, IAPS, WAWF, FM Suite, DTIM) to execute budgeting tasks.
• Develop and deliver financial analyses and presentations for senior leadership using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Manipulate and analyze financial data to support decision-making and respond to USAFCENT budget drills.
• Research and resolve financial discrepancies and aged obligations, including travel-related items.
• Query financial databases to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
• Track and report end-of-month statistics on service quality and performance.
Qualifications:
• 3–5 years of DoD Resource Advisor or Air Force Financial Management experience.
• 1–2 years of specific Air Force Resource Advisor experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Air Force financial systems (WAWF, BQ, CRIS, FM Suite, ABSS, DTS, OARS, DEAMS).
• Strong understanding of Air Force accounting principles, terminology, and appropriations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
