We're seeking a Manufacturing Planner to support production planning and execution for aerospace components. This role involves developing and maintaining manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and tooling documentation to ensure accurate as-built configurations and delivery readiness.

- A Shift: 6:00 AM - ~4:30 PM
- B Shift: 4:00 PM - ~2:00 AM (Training begins on A Shift before transitioning) Duration: Long-term Contract Clearance: U.S. Person required for export compliance; Secret Clearance preferred (can be obtained post-start)
Role Overview
We're seeking a Manufacturing Planner to support production planning and execution for aerospace components. This role involves developing and maintaining manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and tooling documentation to ensure accurate as-built configurations and delivery readiness.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Create and maintain manufacturing plans, BOMs, and work instructions
- Develop illustrations and documentation for production processes
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure manufacturing requirements are met
- Identify tooling needs and initiate orders based on engineering specs
- Investigate and resolve manufacturing issues of limited scope
- Support reproducibility assessments and provide input on design and process improvements
- Develop work statements and event sequencing to meet delivery commitments
- Review and maintain internal documentation and process standards
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in manufacturing planning and production support
- Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and process procedures
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a STEM discipline
- Experience with Model-Based Design and GD&T
- Familiarity with MESci or similar manufacturing systems
- Knowledge of MRP systems (e.g., CompassContract)
- Experience with Windchill or similar engineering databases
- Ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences
