Summary:

Goldbelt APEX is looking for a Radio Communications Systems Technician.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:
  • Establishing and maintaining circuits, configuring, and managing system and network connectivity; provided over multiple waveform spectrums (HF, VHF, UHF, SHF and EHF) in fixed tactical environments.
  • Technician must be able to erect and orientate antenna systems, and configure communications equipment to provide voice, digital, or analog operations, for efficient radio equipment operations; maintaining communications links with distant stations, while helping electronic measures to neutralize effects of communication jamming.
  • Provide management of configuration analysis, development of land mobile radios, satellite phones and all other radio communication equipment to include overall administration diagnosing, updating, developing, and resolving any issues working with the Base Communication and/or vendor specific support of all radio communications equipment for ECMM support applied across the contract.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree or higher.
  • Minimum 10 years of radio frequency transmission/systems field experience to sustain, troubleshoot and repair radio transmitters, receivers and ancillary equipment for line-of-sight, frequency wireless, beyond line-of-sight, wideband, ground-based satellite, encryption transmission devices and Satellite Communications.
  • Experience shall include multiple waveform systems, keying, and signal devices; telemetry and instrumentation systems, and operating across multiple waveform spectrums.
  • Must have a Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in a related field.


Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour.
