We are seeking a mid-level Software Automation Tester with strong Python skills to support mission-critical Department of Defense (DoD) software systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in test automation, a solid understanding of software development lifecycles, and familiarity with DoD compliance and security standards.
Selected candidates will develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Python and relevant frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Selenium); and collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, system engineers, and cybersecurity professionals to ensure software quality and compliance.
All Candidates must have an active Secret Clearance to be considered for this position
Required Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
Proficiency in Python and experience with automation tools such as PyTest, Selenium, or Robot Framework.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools.
Experience with DoD software development and testing standards (e.g., STIGs, RMF).
Knowledge of security testing and tools (e.g., Nessus, Fortify).
Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government).
ISTQB or equivalent certification.
