Mechanical Systems Engineer

Insight Global is hiring a mid level Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our team supporting a newly awarded DoD Program in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical systems across a variety of DoD Platforms. Candidates should have a background in Systems Requirements including validation and verifications; experience with tools such as DOORs, Cameo and Creo, and the ability to work with multiple teams and divisions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems meet performance, reliability, and safety standards. You will collaborate with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration and prepare technical documentation including specifications, test plans, and reports.

Minimum job requirements include:

- Bachelors Degree and 5 years of Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar type Engineering
- Strong background gathering and defining requirements, performing validation and verification, and basic understanding of testing
- Strong background with DOORS and/or CAMEO
- Active Secret Clearance

Nice to have, but not required
- Experience with MBSE, SysML, ANSYS or MATLAB
- Experience with Built in Test environments
- Experience with Safety or Reliability Engineering

Insight Global expects to pay 125 - 145K for this candidate. Candidates exact pay may change based on clearance level, years of experience, and level of expertise.
