Salary Range: **$150,000 to $225,000 per year

WOOD Federal Solutions, Inc. is anticipating a future opening for a highly skilled and motivated Program Manager to lead complex federal contracts. This role will require technical expertise, leadership, and experience managing Cost Plus, Time & Materials (T&M), and Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) completion type task orders. The successful candidate will be responsible for staffing, team management, program execution, and inspiring excellence across diverse efforts.

Security Clearance Requirements:

This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely recruitment and training of program staff (direct and indirect).
  • Review all financial and technical reports prior to Government release.
  • Ensure cross-discipline integration to meet Government needs.
  • Communicate issues and solutions transparently to the Government PM.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and administrative requirements in coordination with contracts staff.
  • Provide input to statutory acquisition reports and Congressional Questions for the Record (QFRs).
  • Coordinate Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and value engineering proposals.
  • Contribute to Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan and Award Fee reviews.
  • Collaborate with higher-level program managers for efficient contract execution.
  • Allocate resources including staffing, facilities, and budgets.
  • Review and propose the Integrated Program Baseline or resource-loaded schedule.
  • Approve earned value, Estimate To Complete, Funds and Man-hour Expenditure Reports, and other financial reports.
  • Review risk mitigation activities and allocate budgets accordingly.
  • Prepare and present formal program status reviews to the Government PM.
  • Review and allocate management reserve within contractual limits.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED + 10 years of relevant experience, OR
  • Associate's degree + 8 years, OR
  • Bachelor's degree + 6 years, OR
  • Master's degree + 4 years, OR
  • Doctoral degree + 2 years.
  • Degree must be in a Business Field (e.g., Program Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics) or Technical Field (e.g., Engineering, Systems Management, Computer Science, IT).
  • Relevant experience in business (e.g., financial forecasting, contract management) or program management (e.g., earned value management, cost-benefit analysis, life cycle cost estimating).

Required Skills:
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Proven ability to staff programs, manage teams, meet program requirements, and motivate team members.
