A Day in the Life – What You’ll Do
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that solve complex mission requirements.
Analyze user needs and system capabilities to create effective software solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems and hardware engineers, to ensure seamless integration.
Write and maintain documentation for code, designs, and technical workflows.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization activities.
Contribute to the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from design through deployment and sustainment.
Ensure software standards, cybersecurity requirements, and DoD compliance are met.
Required Qualifications

Active Top Secret Clearance
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
0–2 years of software development experience (internships and academic projects count)
Programming & Development Experience:
Languages: C++, C#, and Python
Frameworks & Web Technologies: Django (Python), Bootstrap, HTML, CSS
Operating Systems: Windows and Linux environments
Database: Experience with SQL database design and management
Scripting: Linux Bash scripting and automation
Version Control: Strong understanding of Git and GitLab workflows
CI/CD: Familiarity with GitLab YAML pipelines for testing, release generation, and test environment deployment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing and deploying applications using Django Framework (Python, SQL, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS)
Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD automation, YAML pipeline configuration, and release management
Familiarity with DoD or defense-related software systems
Knowledge of secure coding practices and software verification/testing tools
Experience collaborating in Agile or Scrum development teams
Active Top Secret clearance or SCI eligibility
