Our premier aerospace and defense client is seeking a Design and Analysis Engineer 6 to lead cutting-edge electronic hardware development in support of national defense initiatives.

This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of new, advanced electronic systems , ensuring high performance in demanding environments.
- Drive requirements decomposition from system level to electronic subsystems and components.
- Develop detailed hardware, firmware, and interface specifications for electronic systems.
- Create and execute test plans to validate performance and compliance with functional and operational requirements.
- Provide lifecycle support , from prototype through integration and sustainment.
- Mentor junior engineers and serve as the technical focal point for electronics design.
- Interface with suppliers for prototyping and hardware production efforts.
- Stay ahead of emerging technology trends and contribute innovative solutions to evolving defense needs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related field.
- 3+ years in subsystem requirements development.
- 5+ years in electrical/electronic/firmware design, development, or evaluation.
- 5+ years in analog/digital circuit design and complex system integration.
- Proficiency in packaging techniques and power systems engineering.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in high-speed, low-latency system design .
- Experience with firmware development for embedded systems.
- Strong understanding of DoD system lifecycle and verification methods.
- Passion for problem-solving in complex, high-stakes environments.
