Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Linux System Administrator.
• Proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server administration.
• Strong troubleshooting, log analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
• Perform system administration, configuration management, and release engineering for multi-forest enterprise environments.
• Maintain both Linux and Windows Server infrastructures, ensuring availability, compliance, and performance.
• Support software deployments, monthly updates, and database maintenance (Oracle and SQL).
• Troubleshoot and optimize system performance, network connectivity, and log analysis.
• Deploy and maintain Mission Unique Software (MUS) in virtualized and containerized environments (VMware, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Implement and manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and cross-forest authentication (including two-way transitive trust relationships).
• Administer Certificate Authority (CA) infrastructure for internal PKI, ensuring compliance with DoD and corporate security standards.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all critical systems.
• Perform system patching, antivirus updates, and Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet mission and cybersecurity requirements.
• Work with small teams and interface with peers, customers, and senior managers primarily focused on the Operations & Sustainment of several interconnected domains
• Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure new software product operating parameters are documented, comply with standard hardware configurations, and are logistically sustainable
• Ensure corporate and legal guidelines are followed for managing IT hardware and software assets
• Define requirements for asset acquisition and procedures to include management and disposal strategies for the enterprise
