HII Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Cyber Network Analyst 1 to support MCICOM (Marine Corps Installations Command) at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. What You Will Do:
As a Cyber Network Analyst, you will:
- Support the development of technical analyses and assessments that integrate existing national-level products and databases to identify patterns of threat activity and narrow the search space for counter-threat operations.
- Engage with supported Combatant Commands and the Community of Interest in developing cybersecurity intelligence solution products to meet command, unit, and subordinate customer intelligence requests, and to inform activities that protect critical infrastructure from cybersecurity threats.
- Assist in planning and delivering tailored intelligence analyses and capability recommendations to enhance the organization's ability to effectively mitigate improvised cybersecurity threats.
- Support problem identification and assist in developing recommended solutions based on experience working with elements of the Department of Defense and interagency partners.
- Assist in maintaining Department of Defense authoritative databases in accordance with configuration management standards.
What We're Looking For:
- 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
- Active Secret clearance
- More than three years of experience conducting network analysis and ensuring compliance
- Demonstrated experience collaborating and building communities of interest within the national security enterprise, including the Department of the Navy and the Marine Corps
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ideal for candidates with foundational IT experience, including junior military personnel with technical MOS backgrounds.
- Three to ten years of active military experience and/or a combination of military, government civilian, and/or contractor experience
- Familiarity with DODI 8500.01 and DODI 8510.01
- At least three years of experience in network analysis and compliance
- Strong understanding of the Risk Management Framework, network analysis tools, databases, DoD and commercial cloud technologies, and acquisition/system development lifecycle methodologies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other commercial business or specialized software tools; practical experience with geospatial intelligence tools such as ArcGIS and Google Earth
- Experience addressing counter-cybersecurity threats, including but not limited to: distributed denial of service (DDoS), network penetration, intrusion and analysis, proliferation, critical pathway defeat, counter-facilitation, counter-threat finance, and supply chain analysis
- Five years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree in a related field; three years with a master's degree; or nine years with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience supporting Sensitive Activities
