Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and a proven track record of success in software testing and quality assurance.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with developers to conduct comprehensive system testing, encompassing both manual and automated approaches, including regression and targeted testing of code and configuration implementations.
- Ensuring project implementations align with specifications, requirements, and exceed client expectations through active participation in the project team.
- Providing client support throughout User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect management.
- Demonstrating proficiency in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum), utilizing tools such as Jira, Confluence, Crucible, SharePoint, and Crystal Reports.
- Serving as a subject matter expert in capturing, analyzing, and managing functional and non-functional system requirements and user stories. p roduct Owner and Project Manager requirements.• Defining and communicating clear acceptance criteria for testing and user story development in accordance with P
- Exhibiting expertise in SQL Server T-SQL and/or Oracle SQL.
- Supporting multiple applications throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to testing, release, and ongoing support.
- Identifying and implementing industry best practices and business standards.
- Conducting solution analyses and recommending application improvements.
- Assisting the Scrum Master with backlog refinement and epic creation.
- Delivering project artifacts as required by the client.
- Utilizing a variety of software testing tools to ensure comprehensive testing and effective defect detection.
- Penetrating strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.• Demo
Qualifications:
- Possesses exceptional oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to effectively convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, including management.
- Demonstrates strong analytical abilities, including the capacity to synthesize information from diverse sources.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively with government and non-government stakeholders at various levels.
- Exhibits proficiency in translating mission/business objectives into user stories and documenting them within a product backlog for iterative development cycles.
- Proficient in SQL query writing.
- Demonstrates advanced MS Office skills, including MS Project, Excel PivotTables, and formula utilization.
- Exhibits a strong aptitude for acquiring new knowledge and skills.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Scrum Master certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster [CSM]
- PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
- Experience with DevSecOps and/or CI/CD
- Familiar with Data Warehouse ETL
- Familiar with Testing tools (ANDI, Apache JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Experience with SQL Server Database
