Peerless Technologies is seeking a motivated Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) program at Langley AFB. The ISSO will provide security engineering and compliance support to ensure all information systems meet evolving cybersecurity requirements under the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503.
Key Responsibilities
Support system development, updates, and sustainment of authorization packages in the XACTA IA Management (XIAM) tool.
Manage, review, and integrate system and acquisition data into XIAM according to ACC/A26 workflows and RMF processes.
Provide expert-level system security analysis supporting assessment and authorization (A&A) activities throughout the system life cycle.
Ensure compliance with ODNI ICD 503, NIST 800-37, and related DoD and IC cybersecurity policies.
Develop and maintain the Body of Evidence (BoE) documentation to support system accreditation.
Conduct information system security reviews and implement required security controls for the DCGS weapon system.
Perform research and analysis to identify appropriate mitigations and document recommended solutions.
Ensure security requirements are applied to new and legacy systems to maintain compliance and accreditation.
Provide timely status updates and weekly reporting through the team lead for consolidation and quality assurance.
Requirements
Associate Degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum 3 years of Information Technology experience.
IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+).
Active TS/SCI security clearance.
