This role involves performing and coordinating financial transactions, reconciling accounts, analyzing data, and providing customer and technical support to ensure smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and review routine to moderately complex financial transactions and analyses.
Prepare and reconcile accountings, ledgers, and financial reports.
Monitor funding streams and ensure data accuracy across financial systems.
Support budgeting, accounts payable, and reimbursement processes.
Provide customer service and technical guidance on financial policies and procedures.
Assist with developing financial policies, system enhancements, and process improvements.
Support system users by troubleshooting issues and ensuring data integrity.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Familiarity with federal financial systems, policies, or regulations.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in financial systems and data management tools preferred.
Requirements:
Minimum two (2) years professional experience performing financial records processing and financial records management.
An Associate's Degree i finance, business administration, or closely related field. An additional 2 years of equivalent relevant experience may be substituted for the education requirement (total of 4 years experience).
