Technical Writer / Documentation Specialist
The Technical Writer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and delivering high-quality documentation to support operations, training, and compliance. This includes user guides, SOPs, training manuals, system diagrams, and contract deliverables. The role ensures that all documents are clear, consistent, and accessible, meeting both customer expectations and Section 508 accessibility standards. The Technical Writer collaborates with engineers, developers, and program leadership to ensure that documentation accurately reflects current system configurations and processes.

Education and Experience
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or Technical Writing.
- 3-5 years of technical writing/documentation experience in IC/DoD programs.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
- Tools/Software: MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, ServiceNow Knowledge Management, Visio.
Training and Certifications:
- DHS Trusted Tester v5 certification for 508 compliance is highly preferred.
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI and the willingness to sit for a polygraph, if needed
