Location: DIA HQ / 20 MacDill Ave, Washington, DC 20032
Shift: Day
Anticipated Salary Range: $110000 - $115000
Status: Full-Time

Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for long-periods and must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally.

Syntelligent is seeking a Intelligence Planner to support a Government Customer

Duties will include:
- Employs intelligence expertise and knowledge to assist in the integration of Defense and National intelligence support capabilities, including collection, analytic and targeting activities, into overarching operational planning functions and efforts across the DoD.
- Mission areas for Intelligence Planner assistance include, but not limited to, development of campaign plans, deliberate planning, crisis management, and time sensitive planning in accordance with the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES).
- Additionally, planners assist with red teaming, and intelligence operations feasibility assessments within the planning process.
Required:
- Experience coordinating analytic support to produce Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE) products
- Knowledge of Joint planning and intelligence planning processes, and policy, strategy and plans, including TCPs and TCOs, GCPs, or OPLANs, and U.S. national security policies
- Ability to work independently and meet short deadlines in a fast-paced environment, coordinate participation, and input in the development of global plans
- Active TS/SCI clearance and CI polygraph
- HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience with intelligence planning, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience with intelligence planning
Desired:
- Experience with working with collection managers
- Experience in a Joint Staff or COCOM J5
- BA or BS degree in International Affairs, Political Science, Foreign Area Studies, or National Security Studies preferred; MA or MS degree in International Affairs, Political Science, Foreign Area Studies, National Security Studies, or a related research field a plus
