The Opportunity:
The Cloud Engineer will maintain an efficient and cost-effective migration of data, applications, and other technologies from an on-premises platform to a cloud-based infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
This job is to include, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
• Migrating data from on-premises or legacy systems to the Cloud
• Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Conducting risk assessments
• Identifying technical requirements
• Managing project timelines
• Identifying and recommending opportunities for optimization and cost savings in the cloud environment
• Working with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met during and after migration
• Providing post-migration support and addressing any issues that arise.
• Documenting configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Automating administrative tasks using PowerShell scripts.
• Implement security and compliance policies.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and licensing.
• Ensuring seamless integration, security, and optimal performance of Microsoft 365 applications such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.

Qualifications:
Required
- 8 years Experience and HS or GED or 3 Years Experience and Bachelors
- Active TS/SCI (no waiver minimum requirement)
- DoD 8570 IA Type: IAT Level 2
- DOD 8570 Certification Requirements: Comp TIA A+ CE / Comp TIA Network +CE
Mandatory Skills:
- Cloud Architecture
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues
- Powershell
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration management tasks
- Proven experience as an M365 Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role, with a focus on M365 and Azure cloud environments
- Proven experience with Azure cloud services and migration projects.
- Python
- Strong ability to self-organize and prioritize tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Strong proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure platforms, including identity management, authentication mechanisms, and security controls
- Understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance.
